Course overview: The Epic Hygiene is a dental laser intended for the treatment of specific soft-tissue conditions, in particular for the ablation, vaporization and coagulation of oral soft-tissue, including marginal and interdental gingival and the epithelial lining of free gingiva.
The session will include a Zoom venue where participants will have received a practice kit including typodont periodontal models, a document camera designed for video conferencing and instructions for use. The Epic Hygiene laser must be present.
Learning Objectives: Demonstrate competency, knowledge and skill in utilizing the laser to manage established patient conditions. This course will include both didactic and innovative virtual hands on instruction in the following areas:
- Pocket Therapy: Laser Bacterial Reduction (LBR)
- Perio Debridement: Laser Assisted Periodontoal Therapy (LAPT)
- Managing of Oral Ulcerations (herpes labialis and apthous ulcers)
- Hemostasis

- BRING YOUR LASER – This is an interactive training using your soft tissue laser

- Pre-requisite: Diode Online Training Course-Epic H is highly recommended
- Registration closes one week prior to event start
- A training kit will be mailed to you the week of the training. The kit must be returned after the training. A return shipping label will be included. If the training kit is not returned within 7 days of the training, a restocking fee will be incurred
