FiAPC Plus represents the next evolution in argon plasma coagulation (APC) technology.
Technical refinements that translate into real clinical benefits; less tissue sticking, greater probe flexibility and improved suction efficiency.
Key features:
• Optimized beam characteristics
and proven APC modes deliver reliable and reproducible results, whether you’re treating a small lesion or a broader area. The redesigned tip and thermally isolated electrode enable homogeneous argon gas ignition, supporting stable plasma performance and giving you the accuracy and confidence you need in every procedure.
• Heat reduction
The new tip design features a ceramic tip, a thermally isolated electrode, and a proprietary coating that lowers the distal tip temperature. This helps to reduce tissue sticking and therefore cleaning of the probe – allowing for more continuous, uninterrupted interventions.
• Enhanced flexibility
of the probe allows you to navigate challenging anatomies with ease, without compromising performance or quality. Working in retroflexion or insertion in enteroscopes is straightforward. Additional stable plasma ignition, reduced heat generation, and high suction performance contribute to a smooth and effective workflow. This may help to reduce procedure time and increase efficiency in your daily practice.
• Improved handling
FiAPC® plus probes come with a new marking scheme that enables closer positioning of the probe to the working channel, thus bringing the camera nearer to the target tissue. This results in a better view of the target tissue and improves handling.
• Improved suction performance
With its tip extended outside the working channel, the indwelling catheter is 0.1 mm thinner, increasing the cross-sectional area by 15 %. This allows for faster gas expungement, enhancing efficiency during procedures.
